Note from Sian

I started writing in 2003 and have written over 30 stories. I started writing as a way of relaxing and riding myself of stress. I enjoyed it very much. I was blessed with my wonderful friends and beta's Fimbrethiel, Jodi, and Sydney.

My writing this year slacked off like never before. I had to force myself to sit down and produce and the pressure and stress became more than I can recall ever receiving from any job. That's when I knew it was time to call it quits.

When a hobby that you loved becomes a job you hate its time to move on.

After much thought and soul searching I have decided to stop writing. For now I am telling myself at least the rest of this year, being hopeful that the desire will return after a long vacation.

However, I could not leave my WIP's unfinished. I had never not finished a story and it left me with a bitter feeling at the thought of my current three not being completed.

Luckily, I have made some truly terrific friends in my fandom's and have found wonderful authors to adopt my unfinished stories. These authors are folks that I love to read and that I felt truly would make special any unfinished work I left behind. I wanted them to make the stories their own, run with their own ideas and plots. So I hope those that are reading The Mask, Always Been There, and Unlikely Haven, will embrace these new stories and let the authors know how much you are enjoying their work.

I want to thank everyone who read my work, it was a labor of fun and of love. And a very special thank you to Jodi, Fim, and Sydney for putting up with a writer who always needed a grammar lesson!

Unlikely Haven, The story set in Anitaverse has been adopted by one of my most favorite authors and people, Alex. Talk about a perfect fit! I know I will enjoy reading this one very much, boy can she deliver the steam! Thanks Alex, it meant a lot that you liked the story enough to give it a home and make it your own. Alex can be found at her LJ also: http://alexcat.livejournal.com/profile and she is the owner and amazing list mom of OEAM: http://www.ofelvesandmen.com/

Thanks again Alex (((HUGS)))

Finally, my last WIP, The Mask about Brian and Justin from QaF. I love this fandom and only write one complete story along with the unfinished Mask. But my wonderful and so talented beta SydneyAlexis has agreed to finish this story. Its a huge honor for me to have a writer of her quality adopt one of my stories. She will write a beautiful tale that I will want to reread again and again. Thanks Sydney, for everything.

Sydney can be found at her LJ also: http://sydneyalexis.livejournal.com/profile and once she finishes Healing <grins> which I can't wait for! Then she will be telling her tale of The Mask.

Thanks you to each other, it meant the world to me and eased the burden I felt at leaving things unfinished. I can't tell how much it means to me to have you agree to make those stories your own.

So I'll be around, but reading and commenting like any good fan!
